Dialup Configuration

Instructions for Setting Up a Dialup Connection:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Tools.
• Click on Internet Options.
• Click on the General tab.
• Change the Home page Address to what you want. If you want it set to the Mathbox Home page, type http://www.mathbox.com in the Address text field.
• Click on the Connections tab.
• In Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Settings section, click Add.
• In Type of Connection, select Dial-up to private network.
• Click Next.
• In Phone Number to Dial, in the Phone number text field, type in the appropriate National Number
• Click Next.
• In Finished, change the name of the connection to Mathbox.
• Click Finish.
• In the Dialup Connection Settings window, the Automatic Configuration section should be blank and the Proxy Server section should be blank.
• In the Dialup Settings section, in the Username field, type in your Username@mathbox.com.
• In the Password, type in your password.
• Leave the Domain field blank.
• Click OK.
• Back in the Connection tab, make sure the Mathbox connection says Default next to it.
• Select Always dial my default connection.
• Click Apply.
• Click OK.
• Your dialup account is now setup on Internet Explorer.
